Giving & Refund Policy

Giving records and tax information

Empowerment Worship Center Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (Federal EIN: 85-1781556). Gifts are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law; please ask your tax adviser about your own deduction.

Signed-in members can view available online giving records and generate annual statements. Statements reflect recorded payments, refunds, and disputes; contact the church about missing, offline, or corrected gifts. These giving forms are for donations without goods or services in return, other than intangible religious benefits. Payments for tickets, merchandise, or other benefits require separate accounting.

Secure processing and optional fee coverage

Stripe processes online payments. Card details are entered through Stripe's payment fields. The optional fee amount is an estimate based on the site's configured rate; actual processing costs may differ.

Recurring Pledges (Weekly & Monthly)

When you select a Weekly or Monthly schedule, you authorize recurring charges on that cadence using your saved payment method. The first gift is charged immediately; renewals follow automatically until you cancel. Use Manage Recurring Giving in your member account to update your card or cancel, or contact the church office for assistance. If you gave without an account, contact the church office, or create an account with the same email address to manage the gift yourself. Cancellation stops future renewals; it does not automatically refund earlier gifts. If you ask, church staff can change the amount, schedule, or fund of your recurring gift; the change starts with your next gift, and you will get an email confirming it.

Refund Policy

Donations are generally considered final and non-refundable, as they are gifts to a non-profit ministry. However, we understand mistakes happen. If you made an error (wrong amount, duplicate charge, accidental gift), contact us within 30 days of the charge and we will gladly issue a full refund to your original payment method.

Designated Funds

You may direct your gift to a specific ministry fund (General Tithes & Offerings, Building & Sanctuary Fund, or Global & Local Missions). EWC honors designations to the fullest extent possible while retaining discretion to reallocate if a fund's purpose is fulfilled or closed.
