1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Empowerment Worship Center Inc. ("EWC") website, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. Use of the Website

You agree to use this site only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with its ministry purpose — including live stream viewing, online giving, member accounts, live chat, prayer requests, event RSVPs, and the weekly newsletter. You agree not to disrupt the site, attempt unauthorized access, post harmful or abusive content in the chat, or misuse the giving system in any way.

3. Member Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account or use live chat. If you are under 18, use the site with a parent or guardian's permission. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details private and for all activity under your account. Accounts are verified by email. Church staff may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

4. Online Giving

Stripe processes online gifts. By giving, you authorize EWC to charge the payment method you provide. If you choose a weekly or monthly gift, you authorize the same charge on that schedule until you cancel. You can cancel at any time with Manage Recurring Giving in your member account, or by contacting the church office. If you gave without an account, contact the church office, or create an account with the same email address to manage the gift yourself. Canceling stops future charges; it does not refund earlier gifts. Church staff can change the amount, schedule, or fund of a recurring gift only when you ask them to, and you will get an email confirming the change. Giving is governed by our Giving & Refund Policy.

5. Live Chat & Community Content

Chat messages and prayer requests must be respectful and lawful. EWC staff moderate the chat and may remove content or restrict users at their discretion. Do not share sensitive personal information in public chat. Display names are chosen by members and are not verified; messages from church staff show a Staff badge.

6. Intellectual Property

All site content — including sermon media, images, logos, and text — belongs to EWC or its licensors and may not be reproduced without permission.

7. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Live streams, third-party embeds (such as YouTube), and payment services may occasionally be unavailable. To the fullest extent permitted by law, EWC is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the site.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA.
